Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 24, 2026  ·  Field Assembly LLC

Our commitmentField Assembly LLC is committed to making NestStep accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all public-facing pages and the core application.

1. Conformance Status

NestStep aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. We assess NestStep against these standards through periodic internal review.

2. Measures We Have Taken

The following accessibility practices have been implemented across NestStep's marketing pages and application: all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard; focus indicators are visible on all focusable elements; pages use semantic HTML5 elements including nav, main, and footer with appropriate heading hierarchy; all form inputs include associated label elements; informational images include descriptive alt attributes; all pages include a lang="en" attribute on the html element; color contrast has been reviewed for primary text and interactive elements; and tap targets on mobile are sized to meet WCAG 2.5.5 recommendations.

3. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where full accessibility has not yet been achieved: the PDF inspection report upload and processing flow relies on file input interactions that may have limited screen reader narration during processing states; and the sequencing dependency visualization uses a visual arrow pattern that may not fully convey relationships to screen reader users. We are actively working to address these limitations.

4. Technical Specifications

NestStep is built on Next.js and uses React, Tailwind CSS, and standard browser APIs. The marketing pages are statically rendered and have no JavaScript dependencies for content display, supporting broad compatibility with assistive technologies. The application uses IndexedDB for local data storage, which is supported by all major screen reader and browser combinations.

5. Supported Browsers and Assistive Technologies

We test against current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile. For screen readers, we test against VoiceOver on macOS and iOS and aim for compatibility with NVDA on Windows. We encourage users to contact us if they encounter issues with a specific browser or assistive technology combination.

6. Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of NestStep. If you encounter a barrier, notice a WCAG failure, or need content in an alternative format, please contact Field Assembly LLC at support@nest-step.app. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

7. Formal Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the relevant national authority. In the United States, accessibility complaints related to digital products may be directed to the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division or the U.S. Access Board.

8. Assessment and Review

This statement reflects a self-assessment completed in March 2026. We review and update our accessibility practices as the product evolves. The next scheduled review is planned for September 2026.
