Acceptable Use Policy

1. Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of NestStep and all services operated by Field Assembly LLC. By accessing or using NestStep, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service. Field Assembly LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

2. Permitted Uses

NestStep is designed to help homeowners organize, prioritize, and track home improvement projects after purchasing a home. Permitted uses include: logging projects, notes, and contractor information related to your own home; uploading your own home inspection report for project extraction; using the sequencing and prioritization features to plan your home improvements; and sharing your NestStep data with a contractor, partner, or advisor as part of your home improvement planning.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use NestStep to: collect or store information about properties or individuals without authorization; violate any applicable federal, state, or local law; upload documents you do not have the right to process; submit inputs designed to circumvent, manipulate, or stress-test the Service in ways that could harm other users; reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or resell any portion of the Service; use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure; or use the Service for any commercial purpose unrelated to your own home improvement planning without a separate written agreement with Field Assembly LLC.

4. Data You Enter

You are solely responsible for the content you store in NestStep, including projects, notes, photos, and contractor information. You represent that you have the right to store any content you add to the Service. Do not enter personal identifying information about third parties beyond what is necessary for your own records.

5. No Professional Advice

NestStep is a personal organization and decision-support tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes home inspection advice, contractor advice, construction advice, financial advice, or any other form of licensed professional advice. Field Assembly LLC is not a licensed contractor, home inspector, or financial advisor. You should consult qualified professionals before undertaking any home improvement project.

6. Minors

NestStep is intended for adults. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using NestStep, you represent that you meet this requirement.

7. Enforcement

Field Assembly LLC reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to take any action we deem appropriate, including issuing a warning, suspending access to the Service, or terminating your account.

8. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this AUP, please report it to support@nest-step.app.

9. Changes to This Policy

Field Assembly LLC may update this AUP from time to time as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the application or by email. Continued use of NestStep after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
